With Love From Lacoste...

Hey all!

I'm writing to you from the tiny southern French town of Lacoste. I'm doing a quarter abroad here, so that's why I've been away for so long. But, I'm back now and with a few tidbits of things to share with all you lovelies! :D

First off, no, I have not forgotten about fashion. 2 lines are coming up this summer... 1. a new screen printed design based off of my favorite fairytaile, Cinderella of course! and 2. a fully color printed original print... Framboise Foncée De Chocolat. Or, in English, Dark Chocolate Raspberry! The print will come in 2 colorways and feature raspberry tarts, glasses of chocolate wine and all sorts of decadent treats.

In other new, I've also made it to the final round of the Gothic Lolita Wigs contest that is being held on Facebook right now! I've never been in any kind of contest like this before, so it's very exciting! I'm hoping to make it to the top with the support of my friends, and it is all so very much loved and appreciated. If you are interested in casting a vote for me, here's how you do it:

1. Go to the Gothic Lolita Wigs page on Facebook and "Like" the page.

3. Get much love from Lindsay.

Well my friends, Au Revoir! Love and kisses from France.

The holidays...

I really hope you all had a great holiday! I'm snowed in right now here in CT, and been travelling so much that it's making my head spin! I've been really behind on things, everything it seems, but, I'm catching up as the new year approaches.

I'm here however to let all the followers here know that I'm really trying to sell off the pinstripe OOAK corset that I made for Laura in the AWA 2010 fashion show. I'm trying to raise money already for my ticket to France for my study abroad program, I'll be over there for almost three months! So here's some pictures...

I'm asking for $100 shipped in the US, anyone international can ask about shipping, although I doubt I'll charge much extra, I want this gone! It was made to fit a 30-32" waist (can possibly fit a few more...) and is triple lined, spring steel boned, and super durable, worn once for this show! <3>

At The Ballet.

So, after a long time of talking about it, here is the other new photo set I was telling you all about! Mary Rebecca, a local Atlanta photog, took us out for an amazing shoot to really showcase the skirts, and the different styles that you can really put them with. My models are Megan Porch and Meredith Placko, and they both look great! I'll be posting these to Deviant Art, as well as Flickr, and here's the statement that will accompany them:

"This summer, I had the absolute pleasure to work with a local photographer named Mary Rebecca, find her at www.maryrebecca.com! She is so wonderful and took us to this gorgeous location in the Atlanta area.

This photo was taken as part of the photo collection for my Spring/Summer 2010 line as part of the Lolita Nouveau collection, The Classic Cameo.

Skirts are hand screen printed by me and also hand made with much love. Swarovski crystals are hot fixed around the cameo frame for extra sparkle! Metallic thread stitch detailing also gives this a really classy and handmade look. So here you go, Classic, Steampunk, and Sweet.. Take your pick!

Skirts are ready to order on a commission basis and can be made to size in PinkxHot Pink, NavyxSilver, BrownxSilver and IvoryxGunmetal.

Totes and Tees also avaliable!

E-Mail me at lindsay.hamilton112@yahoo.com for more info and ordering!

xoxo"

Also, here are some shots of the Cameo Casual Wear. Totes and Tees for the cameo lovers! Totes come in Black/Silver, Brown/Silver, Ivory/Gunmetal.

Thanks so much for following, it means a lot to me! Pass the blog on and share the love.

It's been such a busy few weeks. Metrocon, Otakon, photoshoots here and there. Lolita Nouveau is growing! I've been getting so many e-mails, and that makes me very happy!

The downside? My serger is broken! So, orders are put on hold for a bit. I'll update here when everything has been fixed and I'm ready to go once more!

This past weekend, we had a photoshoot with some of the loveliest people I know, the NY/CT lolitas! Sean Walsh was our awesome photographer and my models were absolutely fabulous! Lindsay, Crystal, Cate, and Jesi, you were great. :D The shoot featured Lolita Nouveau, my jewelry line, Lolitas-N-Cream, Amaranth Opulent, and Ophanim Gothique.

You can find the shops to get all that you see in the photos right here:

Thanks for tuning in! I'll be posting very soon once again with pictures of the Lolita Nouveau casual collection with a photoset by Mary Rebecca (www.maryrebecca.com)! If you are interested in a Lolita Nouveau piece, please do still e-mail me at lindsay.hamilton112@gmail.com, we can arrange your order so that it will be completed upon the fixing of my machine!

Loving the Cameo!

A few days back, I posted up on the LJ comm daily_lolita with this coord as an example on how to wear the new Classic Cameo Collection! You can find the post in the link below with more coord photos and detail shots of the skirt! (Oh, that's me BTW!)

http://community.livejournal.com/daily_lolita/3385336.html

So, I've had a great response to the designs so far. Everyone seems to adore the cameo look and says it's classy and retro! Therefore, yes, I am taking orders! I can make all colorways on a person to person basis. Right now, skirts are $70.00 USD with US Shipping included! If you are international, no worries! Shoot me an e-mail and we will talk about shipping options for you.

I've sold so far on Brown skirt and one Navy skirt to two very lovely Connecticut lolitas. Aly (misslumpy on LiveJournal) has written a shining review of my work, I'm so proud! Not only did I send her the first Lolita Nouveau piece, but, I also created a custom underbust corset for her to wear both over and under her lolita clothing.

You can read her review here at her Blogspot account:

http://herlumpiness.blogspot.com/2010/06/review-lolita-nouveau.html

I'm so happy that this little project of mine is getting off the ground, what a lovely way to spend the summer in my opinion! Next for Lolita Nouveau is a fashion photoshoot with some of my good friends to model and show off the new work, shooting is going to happen in the next few weeks with Mary Rebecca, a very talented Photography major recently graduated. <3

So, if you are interested in a skirt, tote, or any other custom products with the Classic Cameo print on it, shoot me an e-mail over at lindsay.hamilton112@gmail.com.

Thanks all! <3

xoxo
